About Us
We are a husband and wife team. Between us we have 30+ years sewing and costuming experience. All of our clothing is based on historical patterns or drafted using historical guidelines. We really try and give that authenticity so desired teamed with the affordability and comfort modern people expect. We are reenactors ourselves.
Being a reenactor makes you quite aware of what is needed in garments and we strive to stay period accurate in pattern designs and also remember what reenactment garments require for continuous use. We like to think that we make clothing instead of costumes. By that I mean we try and make items that can be worn for many years (like clothing) rather than a costume that is simply for a once.
All garments are made in a smoke-free home and there is a great attention to detail. We sew with an eye for detail. All seams on our clothing are enclosed or serged for neatness. Most are lined. All fabrics, unless otherwise stated, are pre-washed before sewing.
We love making and wearing historical garments. A lot of research goes into our pattern drafting and fabric choices. Since reenacting is a hobby we understand the need to look good and be authentic. We also understand budgets and want to make this hobby fun and affordable. Please look through our shop and let your imagination wander to a different time. Enjoy the fantasy as well.
